Less corruption.

It's easier to corrupt/control Teresa May than the EU.

Result: Bad

Rupert Murdoch and Paul Dacre have no control over the EU, but do have complete control over Teresa May.

If there is corruption, it will be easier within the UK government.

For example, big businesses find it easier to pressure a single government to amend or soften rules that are not in their interests (typically by exploiting the workers).

In comparison, the MEPs in the European Parliament come from 28 countries, and this increased attention makes corruption harder.
