Government will listen to "the people"
Nope, if anything they are listening even less.
Result: Neither
The government listened to 26.7% of the population who voted to Leave.
As more details emerge about the EU, they haven't addressed any problems.
They even insist there "must be no attempts to remain inside the European Union, no attempts to rejoin it through the back door, and no second referendum" (source).
Now Parliament can vote on the final agreement, MPs will only "have the choice to accept that deal or to move ahead without a deal" - our MPs will not be given an option to revoke Article 50 (to remain in the EU), no matter how bad the options are (source).
This raises the question about corruption.
